10/12 – 10/13: October Class – Fundamentals of Electric Vehicles

Admin · August 28, 2024

The Fundamentals of Electric Vehicles course aims to train technicians to be high voltage aware and prepare them for the ASE xEV Level 2 certification test. The course spans two days, with the first day focusing on an introduction to electric vehicles (EVs), high voltage awareness, and safety standards. Students will learn about the key components of EVs, including batteries, inverters, and electric motors. The second day covers more advanced topics such as high voltage battery systems, inverters and converters, and electric motors. The course also includes practical sessions on diagnostics and troubleshooting, culminating in preparation for the ASE xEV Level 2 test. Safety is a critical component, with emphasis on understanding and handling high voltage systems safely.
