This immersive three-day, in-person course trains up to six technicians in the safe disassembly, diagnostics, and reassembly of Tesla Large Drive Units (LDUs). Through a blend of classroom instruction and guided hands-on practice, students will learn the fundamentals of electrified powertrains, identify common Tesla LDU failures, and apply troubleshooting and software diagnostic techniques using real-world tools.

Participants will complete a full teardown and rebuild of a Tesla drive unit, culminating in an independent rebuild exercise supported by expert instruction. Ideal for automotive technicians looking to expand their EV expertise with advanced skills in drivetrain servicing, safety procedures, and preventative maintenance.
